Button cap screws are designed and recommended for
light, non-critical high strength applications. The low profile
heads keep in line with sleek designs. A button head should be
used when materials are too thin for a countersink but require
a heat treated fastener.
The socket drive may be either FORGED or BROACHED
at the manufacturer's option and is available in hex drive , spline
and 6 lobe drive (TORX®). The maximum standard length listed
above refers to lengths which are equal to or shorter, than the
designated length. For longer screws, the length of the complete
thread shall be the option of the manufacturer unless specified
when manufactured to order.
